Bernhard Langer Youth Trophy - 14.-16. June 2024
At GCA, it is a tradition to make our course available for international, German, and Bavarian youth championships. Our course always showcases its very best, and participants consistently praise our care and organization.
Inclement weather, hail, and continuous rain in August 2023 could not dampen the spirits at the DMM AK 16 Girls... and now we are taking the next big step. After more than 20 years, we are bringing back a significant international youth tournament: The Bernhard Langer Youth Trophy.
The youth department is delighted that we were able to inspire the Langer family for our project, and together, from June 14-16, 2024, we invite you to the Bernhard Langer Youth Trophy at the Golfclub Augsburg. In 1999 and 2000, GCA was the venue for the "International Bernhard Langer Youth Trophy," and from 2001-2003, it hosted the European Young Masters.
In June 2024, approximately 100 young top golfers will once again have the opportunity to earn points for the German youth, as well as world and European rankings over three days. We expect many top female and male golfers, youth national players, as well as players from the GCA's elite development program.

Registration fee of €120 must be received by June 3, 2023, at 12:00 PM, otherwise the participant will be excluded.

- Thursday, June 13, 2024 - Registration until 3:00 PM, Practice round, 6:00 PM Players Night
- Friday, June 14, 2024 - Public Viewing: Broadcast of the UEFA European Championship opening match from Munich
- Individual Stroke Play (Rule 3.3) over 54 holes on three days:
1st Day: Friday, June 14, 2024 - 18 holes
2nd Day: Saturday, June 15, 2024 - 18 holes
3rd Day: Sunday, June 16, 2024 - 18 holes
Eligibility:
Amateurs (girls and boys) born in 2003 and younger, who are members of an ordinary DGV member or a foreign golf club affiliated with its national association.
Maximum Number of Participants / Handicap Index Limitation
- Total of 90 participants: 35 girls and 55 boys
- Players with a maximum Handicap Index of 3.0 for boys and 5.0 for girls
Scoring
Separate gross scoring over 54 holes for girls and boys in age groups 21, 18, and 16.
Tee Boxes
Boys: White (CR: 73.6 / SR: 142 / Par: 73)
Girls: Blue (CR: 75.8 / SR: 134 / Par: 73)

- Registration: Each player must register at the club secretariat by June 13, 2024, until 3:00 PM.
- Trolleys: Can be rented with a deposit at the secretariat (maximum 10 pieces).
- Electric trolleys are allowed.
- Tee times and other competition information: Will be published on the information board.
- Dress Code: Jeans are prohibited.
- Distance measuring devices are allowed.
- Caddies are prohibited - Forecaddies may be provided by GC Augsburg if necessary.
- Photos will be taken during the tournament. By participating, consent is given for further publication.
- Changes to the competition are reserved.
